Va Beach Baby Shower . . . in Charlotte

Sadly, Patrick and I missed a baby shower that Mrs. Magee and Aunt Judy threw for us in Virginia Beach back in December. It was the weekend immediately after they found the fluid in Anne Louise, and the doctors forbid us to travel. Unfortunately, the shower had to be cancelled last minute. This past week, Mrs. Magee ("Grandi") sent us some of the gifts from the shower. Patrick and I opened them tonight with Anne Louise, but the "shower" was a little past her bed time, so she "watched" (slept) from her swing. But that allowed us to "torture" her with pictures with all the gifts! We are SOOO thankful for all the beautiful clothes, handmade blankets and sweater, and other wonderful gifts. Here are some pictures from our Virginia Beach Shower (that we held in our den here in Charlotte)!

This is a super cute coat and hat from Grandi. The hat was so adorable we kept it on for most of the pictures.
This is a picture with a handmade blanket from Granny. It is so soft and very pretty! Anne Louise also received a beautiful handmade blanket from "Aunt" Clara!
Speaking of handmade, this is a gorgeous handmade sweater and bonnet from Aunt Carole.

Here is a beautiful smocked dress from Charnell and Lauren. There is a matching bonnet, too, but we took a break from harassing AL with the hats! This is a precious outfit from Aunt Judy -- love the overalls!!

It was a great shower, but we missed seeing all the gracious people who gave Anne Louise these wonderful gifts!!
