Anne Louise celebrated her one month birthday on Friday with a trip to the pediatrician for a checkup and a shot (not the alcohol kind, the needle kind). She received a great report and now weighs 9 pounds and 6 ounces and measures 21 inches long. She's gained over a pound and grown an inch since she was born! To compare, take a look at the picture of her when we brought her home from the hospital (notice how loose the outfit is) and a picture of her from Friday in the same outfit (now, a little tighter and a little shorter).
The first month has FLOWN by and our little girl seems to be growing up so fast!
Saturday, we celebrated Mama/Nana's birthday. Before dinner, she came over to watch the Carolina game on the back porch. Anne Louise wore her UNC onesie in honor of the game and just for Nana! Here they are watching the game.
Also, because the Carolina onesie was looking a little short (and because I was bored with the Tarheels' total domination over UVA), I took a few pictures of AL in her outfit. She was making the cutest faces and was doing all sorts of funny movements. I think she wants to be a Carolina cheerleader!
