The mountain trip “fairy tale” came to an abrupt halt when we I decided to get back to Charlotte in time to workout with Joan at 11 (getting up at 7:30 on a holiday was definitely not Patrick’s idea) and have the rest of the day to run errands and get ready for the week. On the way back into town, we drove by the lake and were way too easily tempted by the smooth water, blue sky, and non-billion-degree temperature outside. So, after my workout,we headed up to the lake for the afternoon with our friends Adam, Ashley, and their son (one of Anne Louise’s “suitors” ) Adler. We had a fabulous time on the lake, but failed to take any good pictures until we were back at dock (using my not-so-impressive camera on the blackberry). Here are some pictures of Anne Louise taking a nap (she fell asleep on the way back to the dock), her playing in her dress (last day to wear seersucker!!) that her daddy put on backwards, AND her riding in her NEW big girl car seat that we installed this weekend (Thanks, Grandi!).
