Height/Weight/Head: We don’t have a doctor’s appointment this month (although we had a brief visit for a cold she’s had), so we don’t have anything official. Suffice it to say she’s outgrown the baby carrier (aka “tall”), she’s heavy enough that I now want to use a stroller to take her to school (aka “husky”), and she can say her ABCs (not really, but we’re very sure that she’s very smart).
Bedtime: still 8 (sometimes earlier, sometimes later . . . we have such a good “roll with the punches” baby). This weekend she slept until 10 AM!
Favorite Activity: This girl LOVES to talk. Chatterbox, for sure! Although we could do withOUT the high and squeaky shrills she loves to let out every once in a while. Her favorite activity these days though is school. She does not mind when I say bye-bye and walk out the door. She really LOVES her teachers and loves her friends!
Biggest Milestone in Month Eight: Crawling!!!! Scary, but our little girl is ON THE MOVE! Its really picked up in the past few weeks, but she can go from sitting to crawling and back up to sitting with ease. She’s not moving all over the place (thank goodness), but if she sees something she wants, she’s going for it! Also, a little but big thing is her being able to feed herself a bottle. We definitely still love to hold her and feed her (special mama-daddy-time), but I will admit it sure was nice the other morning when I was working out on the porch to have her sit and watch while feeding herself a bottle! A third big thing is that she is stating to waive bye-bye. She just recently figured out that she can open and close her hand to “wave bye-bye.” For the longest time, whenever you said “bye-bye” she would keep her hand down by her side but would open and close her fingers. She’s now starting to hold her hand up and do it. Its adorable!
Favorite Foods: Sweet potatoes, pears, squash, spinach, and green beans. She also LOVES her puffs (although only 1 out of 10 make it into her mouth – but she loves trying). Her least favorite food is still peas (I think Joan has brainwashed her), and she does not love the jarred baby food with chicken.

Dang she sure is cute. But you're so mean posting about how she sleeps till 10. Ours hasn't slept past 7 am a day in his life and usually its 6:30 or before. This morning it was 5:40! "Why sleep when I can play with toys!"
