Grandi and Granny came to visit last weekend! We had a great time and just wish the visit could've been longer! They got in Friday evening around 6 (in time for Anne Louise to get a bath in her AWESOME new bathtub - I'll post on that soon). There was lots of ooooing and ahhhing over Anne Louise, and then we got to open some presents from our Virginia Beach family and friends! Anne Louise received several beautiful outfits (lots of pink, which she LOVES), a new car seat for when she gets bigger (thanks Grandi), a new diaper bag that matches the car seat (thanks Granny), and some great toys and other gifts! We are so grateful for everything! On Saturday, we took Grandi and Granny to lunch at Rusty's Deli (where we seem to go every Saturday). 
The highlight of the visit for us was being able to go out Saturday night to Joan's and Jim's birthday party . . . and leave Anne Louise with the grandparents! Patrick and I had a good time with our friends -- Judy always throws a great party!
Grandi and Granny left VERY early Sunday morning because they were calling for a big snow storm! We were sad to see them go, but had a great visit. Sunday, we had lunch with Joan and Carrie for Joan's birthday, and then the girls (sans AL) did some shopping while Patrick babysat (aka "took naps") Anne Louise. We were supposed to go to dinner for Joan's birthday that night, but the snow came in fast and furiously, so we settled for take out. 
The snow was beautiful but unfortunately, not enough to keep everyone out of work on Monday . . . so Anne Louise and I enjoyed it on our own!
