Boat Drinks

We couldn’t have asked for better weather this past weekend.  To celebrate the warmth, we took a family trip up to Lake Norman to check on the boat and to grab lunch at our fave lake place – Midtown Sundries.  Now, normally we arrive there by boat, but this time, the boat never left the dock, and instead, we drove our car.  But before lunch, we enjoyed some “cocktails” in the sun sitting on the boat getting our fill of Vitamin D.  It was a nice break from the freezing-cold-rainy-depressing-don’t-want-to-get-out-of-bed weather we’ve been having.

 Anne Louise is a little too good with a can and a coozie.  I don’t think she’s supposed to know how that combo works until college . . . at least! Cheers!  Anne Louise had a great time exploring the boat (and getting some good practice using her “sea legs”).
