A Visit from Grandmother

Anne Louise got to meet some very special people this week.  Because of illnesses, Harriett (“Grandmother”) and Kaki have been unable to get to Charlotte until this week.  Their visit was a huge answer to prayer for several reasons.  One, I have really prayed that Harriett would be well enough to travel here to meet Anne Louise, since Harriett’s middle name is “Louise” and is one of the reasons for AL’s name.  But this visit was also big because Harriett FINALLY sold the house she and Daddy lived in.  The house had been on the market for over a year, so the closing was much-anticipated!  Of course, it was filled with mixed emotions because that house holds so many memories for our family.  Anyway, Harriett and Kaki’s visit was short and sweet, but there was plenty of time for Harriett to get to hold and love on Anne Louise.  Here are a few pictures from the visit.
