Water Baby!

So far, Anne Louise’s favorite thing about summer is . . . the WATER!  We’ve been in the pool, the lake, and now the ocean.  She LOVES it!  Last week, Judge Whitney hosted his Annual Lake Day Party for the Courthouse interns.  Everyone gathers at Judge Whitney’s marina for good food, good times, and good boating!  Judge Whitney makes several rounds taking groups out on his sailboat, and Patrick usually makes it over in the afternoon to take people out on our boat for some watersports (this year it was wakeboarding).  Anne Louise joined in on the fun this year and had a blast in the lake.

We are in Atlantic Beach this week for our first ever family beach trip.  So far, it has been PERFECT!  We’ve rented a place almost right on the beach and have been enjoying the sun, relaxation, and of course, the water!  Sunday, our friends Julie and Hunter took us out on their boat to Carrot Island.  We know Julie and Hunter through Misty, who was also with us.  Anne Louise LOVED the boat ride, and we had such a good time out on the beach.  It couldn’t have been a more perfect day!
